1. Who We Are
Gut Rhythm is a product of Atma Wellness Clinic LLC, an Ayurvedic wellness practice based in Dublin, Ohio. The App is operated under the brand name Gut Rhythm and is available on iOS and Android.

2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:

- Your name (optional, provided during account creation)
- Your email address
- Your password (stored in encrypted form — we never store plaintext passwords)
- Your choice of subscription or program purchase
- Information Collected Automatically:
- App usage data (sessions started, sessions completed, days active)
- Program progress (current day, completed days, reflection responses)
- Device type and operating system
- Crash reports and error logs
- Payment Information:
All in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or payment details. All billing is handled directly by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account
- Deliver your daily sessions and track your program progress
- Send you notifications and reminders (only if you opt in)
- Improve the App and fix technical issues
- Communicate with you about your account or purchases
- Send wellness-related updates and content (via ConvertKit email platform, only if you subscribe to our mailing list)
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:
- Firebase (Google) — account authentication, database, and crash reporting
- Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app purchase processing and subscription management
- RevenueCat — subscription management middleware (purchase status only, no payment data)
- Vimeo — secure video hosting and streaming
- ConvertKit — email communication (only if you subscribe to our mailing list)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve disputes.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted authentication, secure token storage, and HTTPS data transmission. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
